How to create your own button designHave a idea for a button that only you can really design the way you want it?Here are some template guidelines to help you out with creating your own button design and having Scott's Buttons turn it into a button for you. We have three sizes of buttons, 1.5 inch, 2.25 inch and 3 inch round buttons. Below are three images showing the layout of the buttons
Using your favorite design program, make the three circles for the size button you are wanting created, and design your own custom button. Here are a few simple pointers to help you make a great design for your buttons: Keep these circle guides on a separate layer (you do not want them to print on your finished button). Make sure to keep any text inside the area for text. Any fonts that you use in an illustration program (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator or other EPS program) be sure to convert to outlines. If you do not do this any text you create will not print correctly. If you use layers in creating your button design, please do not "flatten" your image. The area in red in the above layouts for the 1.5, 2.25 and 3 inch buttons is the area that wraps around the edge of the button . If your design only covers the face of the button, the edge of your button will be white. Most importantly... you must follow our measurement guidelines. |
